I decided on my wig colour and style, and I also was able to buy synthetic dreadlocks, which made for realistic pubic hair. When deciding on the wig, I took into consideration that it would need a simple natural style, and that the centre would be cut to allow for a natural hair parting to be created using the hair punching technique. The dreadlocks contained some brown hairs, and some blonder along with black. I simply cut them to a size I could manage and separated the hair, getting rid of the darker hair leaving a dark blonde hair colour that appeared natural.

The clay wall was removed once the wax was set hard. Then using a rifler and a blade I began to carefully grate away the excess wax. This eventually created the original curve of the top of the head. Unlike the genital wax I wasn't too worried about the colouring of the wax, This was because the hair would cover most of it, and the scalp skin is usually very pale.

Once the wax was applied to the head, I went on to concentrate on hair punching the genitals. The first job was to tidy up the seams between the wax and the fiberglass. I smoothed the seams using a small metal tool and using a blow torch and melted wax carefully filled up to the fiberglass edge, creating a perfect seam. The hair was then individually inserted. I used photographs of genital hair growth patterns to help me. I began using quite dense clumps of hair, and then created a more delicate hair growth the further up the abdomen I went. By the very edge of the hair, I made sure to use a single hair each punch.

I began hair punching at the hairline. As i needed the hair to fall in front of the face i was careful to punch the needle in a direction that would allow the hair to fall forwards. I then worked in a circular pattern making sure to punch in the direction of the centre parting. In my research of hair growth i realised that in order for a parting to look and act natural the hair grows from the center of the head outwards. I simply carried on punching making sure to keep in mind the direction of the hair, punching one strand at a time till the wax was completely covered.
